ഒരു കിഴക്കന് പാട്ട് ;
പാടുക ഡയാന , ഈ രാവില് ..
എന്റെ ആത്മാവിലോരുപിടി -
സാന്ത്വന സ്പര്ശമായ് പെയ്ത, നിന് -
ഹൃദയാദ്രമാം വരികള് ..
കാലമിത് കൈവഴികള് പിരിഞ്ഞത് !
തടയണകള് ഇല്ലാതെ ഒഴുകുന്ന -
നിനവിന്റെ വരളുന്ന സിരകളില്
‘മുഗ്ദ്ധെ’ ഒരു തുള്ളി ശോണിതം നീ തരൂ
നനവാര്ന്ന നാളേറെയായ് പൂത്ത് -
പൂത്തുല്ലസിച്ചോരെന് “മൂന്നക്ഷരമുണ്ട് ”
ഈ ഇടനെഞ്ചിന് പാര്ശ്വത്തിലെവിടെയോ -
പാടു നീ , ഇവിടെയീ രാവില് , വഴി -
മാറി വിരിഞ്ഞൊരു വസന്തം പോലെ !
ഈ ഹര്ഷം , ഈ ഗന്ധം , ഈ തണല്
നിര്വൃതി , വെറും കുമിളതന് വര്ണ്ണരാജി !
നിമിഷങ്ങള് നിമിഷാര്ധമാകുന്നു, നിന് ശ്രുതി -
അലയൊലികള് അകലെയായ് , അകലുന്നു !
പാടുമോ ഡയാന , ശതകോടി രാവുകള് !
ആത്മാക്കള് ഒന്നാവും , ഗസലിന്റെ യാമങ്ങള് !
പാടുക ഡയാന , എന് കാതില് , നീ വീണ്ടും -
പാടുക .. ഹൃദയാദ്രമാം .. സാന്ത്വന മന്ത്രണം !

the lines , like a mercy rain !
fallen to my soul , the one
wet my heart , the moment
streams are of, the time
flowing over, the block
give me a drop , the red
quenching drought of , the veins
it’s somewhere ‘ a 5 letter ‘ , my left
it’s been a long , get warmth and bloomed

like an odd bloomed spring !
